It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse Nichols Sr. (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on July 9, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Strickland and Ruby Estelle Marsh Nichols; his sons, John Stewart Nichols and Steven Curtis Nichols; his stepfather Oliver Homer Nichols, Sr.; his brother Oliver Homer Nichols, Sr.; and his granddaughter Jessica L. Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Florence Campbell Nichols; his children, Kathryn Diane Nichols, Jesse Woodrow Nichols, Jr. (Dawn Marie) and Kenneth Dawson Nichols, Sr. (Jenny); his grandchildren, Alicia Ann Brooks (Chuck), Amanda Lee Gillian (Darrell), John Stewart Nichols (Tammy), Amy Michelle Nichols and Kenneth Dawson Nichols, Jr. (DeAnna); and his great grandchildren, Elisabeth Richardson (Jason), Allison Thompson (Zack), Billy "B. J." Moore (Teirria), Ashley Minor (Shane), Cody Ammons, Cory Miller, Jacob Miller, Lindsey Taylor Nichols, Hanna Jane Nichols, Sarah Nichols, Leigha Nichols, Dawson Orin Nichols, Daniel Christian, Marissa Abigail Wheatley, Brent Moore, Liam Stanford, Ava Stanford, Eden Stanford, Eli Thompson and Kyra Minor. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
