She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Monk Falkenberry and Herndon Croom Falkenberry; her husband William H. Duke; and her brothers, William Falkenberry and Roswell Falkenberry.
She is survived by: her children, Paul H. Duke (Mary) and Lynn Duke Phelps (Larry); her grandchildren, Andy Phelps (Jennifer), Mark Phelps (Michaela), Kristina Phelps, Christopher Duke (Laurena) and Kristen Cooper (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Emily Phelps, Ethan Phelps, Will Duke, Katelyn Duke and Blanton Cooper. She is also survived by five nieces and four nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Elkdale Baptist Church, 2221 Elkdale Street, Selma, AL 36701.
