It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Thomas Heard Jr. of Selma, Alabama, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Heard; his mother Jacqulyn Heard; his grandmother Rosa Sims; his stepsons, Akeem Walton (Bessie), Daniel Walton Jr., DaQuan Walton and Ebony Walton; his daughter Domnique Walton; his siblings, Rev. Edwin, Norene Heard, Tracey Heard, Erica Heard, Suhmeko Cutts (Timothy) and Dannell Anderson; his cousin Sam Suttles; and his close friend Charlie Norfleet. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, host of nieces, host of nephews, cousins.
