He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Sherrer and Sandra Sherrer Purvis (Barney); his stepchildren, Bill Daniels (Becky) and Christy Cummings (Roy); his grandchildren, Byron Purvis (Jessica), Jason Sherrer and Brannon Purvis; his great grandchildren, James Purvis and Elijah Purvis; his stepgrandchildren, Candy Nichols (Lee), Kelly Waters (Terry), Mary Christie Hale and Lee Cummings (Lauren); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Landon Nichols, Brooke Waters, John Braxton Hale and Braxton Cummings; and his nephew Carl McMillian.
