He is survived by: his wife Melanie Box Mitchell; his daughters, Tara Brooke Mitchell Mathews and Elizabeth Brooke Mitchell; his grandchildren, Hudson James Mathews and Mary Cole Mitchell; his siblings, Dianne Clapp (Clem), Betty Giles and Kim Mims; his grandchildren, Mary Cole and Hollis; and his friends, Tommy Seales, Terry Seales, Danny Stough, Mike McCay, Mike Bearden, Brian Giles, Jeff Giles and Mitchell Carroll. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
