He was predeceased by: his daughter Vickie Lynn Mizelle McGuire of Jackson; his wife Evelyn McMillian Mizelle; and his sisters, Bailey Mizelle Marshal of Richmond, Hazel Mizelle Jernigan of Colerain, Mildred Tayloe Wright of Smithfield and Vashtie Mizelle Brown of Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughter Charlotte Mizelle Veach (Norris) of Selma; his grandchildren, Morris Craig Veach (Linda) of Montgomery, Shannon Mizelle Veach of Birmingham, Richard Michael McGuire, Jr. of Sel and Brianne Shea Spiers (Joey) of Leroy; his great grandchildren, Brandon Craig Veach (Lauren) of Birmingham, Mary Kaylin Veach of Montgomery and Jordyn Mizelle Neil of Birmingham; his great great grandchildren, Ethan Michael McGuire, Shawn Matthew McGuire, Chloe Lynn McGuire of Semes, Isabella Grace Rowland and Tenley Victoria Rowland of Leroy; his nieces, Marie Brown Myers (Jim) of Jackson, JoAnn Rodda of Manhattan Beach and Linda Jernigan Harrell (Bobby) of Colerain; his grandson Norris Craig Veach; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Michael McGuire and Shawn Matthew McGuire (Jeffrey Herrod). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
