She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Swords and Gracie Swords; and her mother-in-law Sally DeLucas. She is survived by: her husband Paul P. DeLucas, Jr.; her daughter Kimberly DeLucas Downes (Greg); her grandchildren, Lauren Downes, Corey Downes and Haley Rogers; her siblings, Vernon "Sonny" (Cindy Swords), Wally (Veronica Swords), Sandra (Gene Suber) and Debbie (John Joyner); her parents-in-law, Mike, Trish DeLucas, Bob and Pam DeLucas; and her close friend Lillian Ward.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society.
