With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Hewston (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on October 24, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce R. Hewston; and his siblings, Jud Ernest Hewston, Jr., Wilford Glenn Hewston, Lillian Maurine Hewston, Ruth Evelyn Hewston and Claud Kenneth Hewston.

He is survived by: his sons, George Andrew Hewston and Robert Furniss Hewston (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Robert Andrew Hewston (Lyndsee), William Robert Hewston and George Wynn Hewston.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of choice.
