He is survived by: his children, Britney Smith of Tallahassee, FL, Desmond Bostick of Selma, AL and Montrez Legg of Casa Grande, Arizona; his stepson Sherrick Smith of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Nicholas "Nick" Bostick, Desmeana "Boosie" Bostick, Aereona "Peanut" Battle, J'Lesiah "ReRe" Parrish, Jasmin "Jas" Parrish and Montraviah "Tuddy" Legg; his sister Cora Carter of Haverstraw, NY; his aunt Louise Jenkins of Chicago, IL; his close friend Retha K. Smith of Selma, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Delong Bonner (Pamela) of Selma, AL, Geraldine Rhodes (Robert) of Franklin, KY, Vera Suber (Thomas) of Charlotte, NC, Alfreda Bonner of Selma, AL, Bessie Sims of Hillsborough, Oregon and Arie "Sista" Smith of Selma, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
