She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lumon Dyess and Mattie Lee McInnis Dyess; her husband William Blanch Brantley; her sister Earlene Dyess Barnes (Clayton); her parents-in-law, Maude and Will Brantley; her sisters, Marlene Grissette (Bobby), Marie Echols (Bob) and Judy Ingram (Bill); her nephew Robert Echols (Billy Ingram); and her nephew-in-law Curly Turner.
She is survived by: her children, James W. Brantley (Lynette) and Denise B. Howorth (Ken); her grandchildren, Heath W. Brantley and Hillary H. Strassner (Aaron); her great grandchild Henry James Strassner; her nieces, Madalyn B. Kitchens (Morgan), Susan Boothe (Jack), Deborah Turner and Pam McCullough (Bobby); her nephew Butch Grissette; and her caregivers, Stella Capps, Deborah Blocton, Kay Little, Mary Dunn, Robin Lynn Reed, Carolyn Steele and Victoria Cleveland.
