He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby York and Merle York; and his brothers, Gene York and Bill York. He is survived by: his wife Linda Fendley York; his son Jeremy York; his grandchildren, Jeremy Tyler York and Maggie York; his great grandchildren, Mason York, Colton York and Buddy; his siblings, George York (Pat), Vina Bearden, Nancy McDonald and Karen Helms; his stepsisters, Pat Belcher and Susan Smitherman; his aunt Hazel Olsen; and his sisters-in-law, Evie Tomas (Vernon), Shirley Thacker (Arlon), Ann Bedgood and Peggy Fendley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
