He is survived by: his parents, Margaret Miller Childers and Erasmus Roy Childers, Sr.; his spouse Elizabeth Bebe Skinner; his children, Nancy Duggan Childers Lansing (John) of Atlanta and Marcus Skinner Childers (Margaret) of Mobile; and his grandchildren, Madeline Miller Lansing, John Childers Lansing, Elizabeth Dozier Lansing, Bebe Hollinger Childers and Margaret Skinner Childers.
