It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Black Lassitter (Selma, Alabama), born in Summerdale, Alabama, who passed away on January 15, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Ivey Bell Black (Edward Lassitter). She is survived by: her children, Michael Lassitter (Greta), William Lassitter (Teresa) and Annette Lassitter; and her brother Thomas Black (Carol). She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
