It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Grey Champion (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ellis Lee; and his siblings, Bobby, Billy and Ann. He is survived by: his wife Rita J. Champion; his children, Jimmy Champion (Beth), Tina Champion (Richie) and Jessica Champion; his grandchildren, Stormy Epley (Cory Wharton), Brittany Champion (Brandon Jordan), Chris Johnson (Danielle LaLone) and R. J. Doss; his great grandchild Weston Johnson; his siblings, Richard, Mary and Betty Jane; and his sister-in-law Sheila Johnson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
