With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Earl L Posey (Selma, Alabama), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, June Posey and Lydia Smith Posey; his wife Georgia Ruth Ingram Posey; and his siblings, Willie G. Posey, Donald O'Neal Posey, Roger Posey and Jewell Dean Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Posey (Tammie) and Joy Albrecht (Jeff); his granddaughters, April Michelle Posey and Kristina Hope Albrecht; and his sister-in-law Debra Crawford Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home, Inc. (2900 Citizens Pkwy, Selma, AL 36701). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the New Live Oak Cemetery (110 W Dallas Ave, Selma, AL 36701).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Enhabit Hospice; 4782 Woodmere Boulevard Suite C; Montgomery AL 36106.
