With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothye Jackson (Selma, Alabama), who passed away on October 17, 2019 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bobby" Holland; her son Lawrence Paul Holland; her grandsons, Garrett Holland and Shadoe S. Holland; and her close friend Dr. Sam Evans.

She is survived by: her children, Bobbye Smitherman, Steve Holland, Terry Lambert, Becky Lipham and Tracye Howe; and her sister Pauline Bryant. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
