He is survived by: his wife Barbara Walter; his children, Monica Hamilton (Tobey), David Walter III (Jimmi Pate), Derrick Walter and Tarik Barbara; his grandchildren, Madisyn, Joe, Mylina, Jesiah, Tyanna and J'anae; his sisters, Bertha Mae Gary (late Raymond), Shirley (Roosevelt), Rev. Addie Holt (Charleston), Clara Wright (Gregory), Diann Walter, Jacinta Sharon Davis (Stanley), Justina Walter-Gray and Minister Larry Walter (Donna); his siblings-in-law, Johnny Rand and Diann Walter; his mother-in-law Betty Berry; his siblings-in-law, Donna Walter, Safford and Kermit Bishop; and his great-niece Kiorah Browning. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
