She was predeceased by: her father Alvin Buckner. She is survived by: her husband Elton Robert Ralston; her children, Russell Ralston (Gail) and Roger "Sage" Ralston (Karli); her grandchildren, Ashley Eubank (Mitch), Anna Hendriks (Hugo), Kathleen Annelle Ralston, Sage "Buck" Ralston, Julia Kelly Ralston and Isaac Ralston; and her great grandchildren, Adler and Lorraine Eubank.
In lieu of flowers, her family is requesting donations be made to Shocco Springs, where Claire and Elton's love story began 66 years ago. 1314 Shocco Springs Road, Talladega, AL 35160.
