She was predeceased by: her daughter Deloris Anne "Missy" Chappelle; her husband John Miller; her sister Helen Knight; and her parents, Benion Carter and Alma Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Bo Chappelle (Raquel), Nancy White, Susan Newton and Gail Deyampert (Bill). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
