He was predeceased by: his parents, W. A. Sides and Annie Sides; his wife Tricia; his brothers, James, Doug, Thomas and John Willie; and his father-in-law Coy Helms.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Headley (Michael) of Valley Grande, AL. and Eddie Sides (Marie) of Selma, AL; his grandchildren, Shanna-Marie and Daniel; his great grandchild Oliver; his mother-in-law Louise Helms; and his sisters, Hazel Brown (Lee) of Prattville, AL and Liz Teasley of Deatsville, AL..
