He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Claudine Fondren (Owens) and Thomas Monroe Fondren; and his siblings, Glenn Travis, Otha Calhoun, James Clyde, Theo, Claudie, Clonnie, Thomas McGlawn, Katy Elaine Scurlock (Dan) and Brenda Kay Fondren.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Lois Dunkin (Robert), Annie Ruth Spencer (Donald) and Ronnie Fondren (Rita); and his children, Jason Monroe Fondren (Helena), Charles Kevin Fondren (Patricia), Kimberly Lynn Fondren and Rhonda Kay Fondren Hall (Chad).
