We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2020, at the age of 86, Carl Gilbert Allen (Selma, Alabama), born in Hanson, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Allen and Frances Whiting Allen. He is survived by: his wife Candice Henderson Allen; his children, Donna Allen Brown, Dana Allen, Linda Allen Hogue (Joey), Jack Allen, Brenda Allen Holder (Mark), Carl Gilbert Allen, Jr. (Gina) and Andrew Allen (Courtney); his grandchildren, Bo Byrd, Mistie Caver, Loren Morrow, Erica Messmer, Joe Hogue, Sam Hogue, Ben Hogue, Joshua Brown, Mara Sheehan, Chelsea Owens, Brianna LeMaster, Sara Hogue, Jesse Hogue, Gilbert Allen, Ava Allen and Reese Allen; and his great grandchildren, Rick Byrd, Allen Byrd, Erin Odom, Paulina Roughton, Emily Morrow, Ally Odom, Oliver Brown and Elizabeth Allen Hogue.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made either to First Baptist Church of Selma or Wannabe Rescued.
