He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenwood Bennett, Sr. and Emma Bell Williams Bennett; his daughters, Carolyn Godwin and Carol Lynn Bennett; and his siblings, Sara Redd, Edna Driver, Brenda Hisel, James Leonard Bennett, Eugene Bennett, Joe Bennett and Franklin Bennett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Bennett Callahan, Diane Bennett Snow and Dawn Bennett Sharpe; his siblings, Billy Bennett (Dorothy), Robert Bennett, Johnny Bennett (Ann), Janet Stone (Howell), Julia Hughey, Shirley Stone (Robert), Burnice Turner (Richard) and Connie Phillips (Jackie); his grandchildren, James Bennett, Tori Nirva, Shay Callahan, Erin Ingram, Emily Ingram, Pearson Sharpe, Camille Sharpe and Chikita Meigs; and his great grandchildren, Beck Nirva, Nora Nirva and Michelle Meigs.
