He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wood Hughes; his children, Kerri Hughes McLain (Hilton), Johnathan Shayne Hughes (Jennifer) and Forrest Eanes Hughes; his grandchildren, Carson, Grace McLain, Lockett and Evelyn Hughes; and his brother James N. Hughes.
