She was predeceased by: her father Raleigh McCormick; her husband EJ Nelson; her grandson David Dunkin; her great grandchild CJ Nelms; her sister Ethal Roy; and her daughter-in-law Mary Dumas.
She is survived by: her sons, George Dumas (Patti), Glenn Dumas (Lisa) and Jerry Dumas; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Horton, Dana Vines (Shannon), Denita Montoro (Michel), Kristy Dumas, Haley Dumas, Amanda Dumas (Chris), Priscilla Dunkin (Jason), Joshua Dumas, Paige Gregg (Shane), Samantha Bennett and John Matthew Bennett. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
