She was predeceased by: her husband William Lawton LaPorte; her parents, Lewis Ellis and Floris Deloach Parker; and her brother Lewis Ellis Parker, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Edward LaPorte (Jan), Lynne Day, Cindy LaPorte (Nick Nichols) and Bryan LaPorte (Estelle); and her grandchildren, Wesley Jones, Amanda Curran, Lacey Michael, Lauren Arington, Sara Pickett, Adrienne LaPorte, Will Nichols, Rhonda Clark, Stanley Day, Christy Day, Krayton Keith, Billy Curran, Jeb Arington, Bob Pickett and Chad Michael. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
