She was predeceased by: her husband Tim E. Gardner; her son Mark Shankles; her parents, Cecil Roberts and Virgie Roberts; and her sister Reba Hunt Brothers.
She is survived by: her children, Rory Shankles (Tammy), Susanne Moses (David) and Michael Gardner (Jenny); her grandchildren, Nathan Moses (Tamera), Christopher Moses (Marisa), Tasha Johnson (Mack), Jaderian Johnson-Stanfield, Kyle Logan Shankles, Tara Shankles (Rod), Sherie Lehr (Greg), Jared Shankles (Alyssa), Caleb Shankles, Moriah Gardner, Eli Gardner and Cheyenne Gardner; and her great grandchildren, Haven, Abrianna, Macie, Kaidyn, Kaydence, Stakely, Colton, Gavin, Maddy and Tripp.
