It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lacey of Section, Alabama, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Daniel Lacey; his sons, Rodney Lacey and Russell Lacey (Maderra); his stepsons, Hayden Hancock (Tiffany) and Eric Childress (Leigh Ann); his daughter Cindy Lacey Ballenger; his siblings, Danny Lacey (Susan) and Laverne Chesser Lyna Holcombe (Gary); his grandchildren, Jaren Lacey (Kendal), Alec Lacey, Peyton Lacey, Colby Shankles (Savannah), Brett Shankles, Morgan Martin (Cody), Austin Ballenger, Melita Hancock, Hayes Hancock, Maddy Childress and Anna Claire Childress; his great grandchildren, Ivalee Lacey and Barbara Goggans Lacey; his parents, Rufus Lacey and Florence Lacey; and his siblings, Maurice Lacey, Helen Lacey and Wanda Bell.
