Nina Cook Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nina Cook of Seale, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. L. Bankston and Josie Greer Bankston; her husband Samuel Hermon Cook, Jr.; her sister Jewel East; her brother-in-law John East; her grandchildren, Karine Szikora and Stacy Moore May; and her granddaughter-in-law Cassidy May.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Walker (George) of Seale, AL, Brock May of Palm City, FL, Jeffrey May (Tina) of Seale, AL and Terri May; her grandchildren, Samuel Walker (Daphne), Jennifer May (Scottie Riddle), Heidi Cooper (Dustin) and Sara May; her great grandchildren, Shannon (Cory) of Tom, G. K., Lila, Kayden, Shawn, Zoie, Lucy and Silas; and her great great grandchildren, Nova and Vayda. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other loving family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Crawford Baptist Church 4503 US Hwy 80 West, Phenix City, AL 36870, or the American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Nina Frances Cook.
