He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Smith and Margaret Mildred Shake Smith; and his brothers, Dennis Smith and Carl Smith. He is survived by: his wife Judith Pierce Smith; his children, Kristen Davis (Ronald) of Sacramento, CA and Tracy Smith (Vicki) of Phenix City, AL; his grandsons, Seth Ransom, Dylan Smith, Tyler Smith and Christopher Hutto; and his siblings, Carol Copeland, William Smith and Jimmy Smith.
