She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Leo and Florrie Agnes McElhenney Gloss; her husbands, Henry Wells Brooks, Jr. and Eugene Thomas Aughtman; her sisters, Mary and Henrietta; and her granddaughter Shelby Brooks Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Henry Brooks, III of Hartford, AL, Dr. Roland Brooks (Kimberly) of Dothan, AL, Florrie Beauchamp (Mel) of Montgomery, AL and Joyce Caraway (West) of Crawford, AL; her sisters, Agnes Hanner of Buena Vista, GA, Barbara Guined of Howard, GA and Ellen Dickerson of McDonough, GA; her grandchildren, Mitchell Brooks (Rose), Seth Brooks (Jordan), Heather Waldrep (Thomas), Andrew Brooks (Hillery), Stephanie Beauchamp, Amy Gatlin (Sterling) and Sarah Kate Howard (Robbie); and her great grandchildren, Addison, Noah Waldrep, Harrison, Camden, Kylie, Bryn Brooks, Hadley, Warren Brooks, Janie Reeves, Sulli, Smith Brooks, Wells Gatlin and Houston Howard.
