She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hytower and Pairlee Smith Hytower; her husband Rev. Willie L. Harris, Sr.; her stepfather Will Hall; and her siblings, Willie J. Hightower, I, Rosie Lee Hytower Robinson and Louise Hytower Watkins.

She is survived by: her children, Willie L. Harris, Jr. of Montgomery, AL, Ernestine Hill (David) of Oakland, CA, Joyce A. Harris-Stokes, Lamar Harris (Marquita) and Vernon Stokes of Columbus, GA; her stepdaughter Ida Mead of Columbus, GA; her goddaughter Virginia A. Richardson of Montgomery, AL; her grandchildren, Lisa Steward (Michael), Wanda Livingston (Sanford), Mister Cormier (Tenia), Sharon Green (Orlando), Starlett Harris, TaWanda Harris, Takeithia Sanks (Kyler) and LaToria Jackson; and her friends, Linda Groome, Marion Jones, Queen Allen, Brenda Allen, Alberta Walton and Missionary Society. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
