He is survived by: his children, Dahyn Long of Phenix City, AL, Tammy (Keith James) and Angela Long of Seale, AL; his grandchildren, Keith James (Trey), Trellinie James, Kayla James, Kinsey James, Karrington Long and Kolton James; his siblings, Willie Long of Seale, AL, Sammie Long (Marie) of Seale, AL, Roy Long (Evelyn) of Holy Trinity, AL, Edward Long (Francine) of Phenix City, AL, Scottie Long (Cassandra) of Phenix City, AL, Gladys Murrell of Phenix City, AL and Erman Bennett (Arthur) of Phenix City, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Breck Upshaw (Katrina) of Montgomery, AL, Robert Upshaw of Columbus, GA, Minister Earnestine Crowell of Phenix City, AL, Flora Williams (Ronald) of Seale, AL and Evangelist Linda Johnson (Ronnie) of Columbus, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church (50 Longview St, Seale, AL 36875).
