It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennifer Merrill Whidden of Seale, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Merrill and Virginia C. Wafler. She is survived by: her husband George "Buddy" Whidden, Jr.; her sons, Steven Whidden (Hayle) of Smiths Station, AL, Justin Wayne Whidden (Ashley) of Smiths Station, AL and Preston Lee Whidden (Amy) of Seale, AL; her sister Amy Currie (Chris) of Columbus, GA; and her grandchildren, Charity, Sadie, Gavin, Brantley, Justin II, Paisley, Lela and Rayden. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
