He was predeceased by: his parents, William Evans and Rosie Mae Evans. He is survived by: his sisters, Willie Mae Thomas and Josephine Wiley-Tualo; his nieces and nephews, Gwendolyn James (Albert), Jeanette Addison (Earnest), Gail Thomas, Lasonya Thomas, Robert Cooper, Darris Thomas and Randall Wiley; and his daughter Terresa Lawrence. He is also survived by grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
