He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Eugene Whitley and Katie Mae Brown Whitley; his son Keith Whitley; and his siblings, Emily O'Neal and Douglas Whitley.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Madison; his wife Suzanne Sledge Whitley; his children, Kevin Whitley of Ellijay, GA, Kelli Whitley of Ellijay, GA and Kimberly Wood; his stepchildren, Ruby Torralva of Houston, TX, Scarlett Sobolak and Matthew Pickett of Houston, TX; and his siblings, Angela Benefield (Bobby), Martha Kuykendall (Lee) of Ft. Smith, AR and Ricky Whitley of Westville, FL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
