She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Leon Smith and Jimmie Ann Pelham Smith; and her brother Mark Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Gibson of Seale, AL; her children, Robin Green Dempsey (David), Kimberly Green Lewis, Brad Gibson and Brent Gibson; her siblings, Judy Evans, Paulette Newman, Loretta Pate, Kathy Pettigrew, Wornie Smith, Curtis Jay Smith and Jimmy Ray Smith; her grandchildren, Krista Bell (Adam), Devin Dempsey (Jennifer) and Danasia Lewis; and her great grandchild Lily Ann Dempsey "Lily Bug". She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
