He was predeceased by: his adoptive mother Joan Butler (Beulah Dorsey). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia L. Butler; his children, Dartangan Butler (LaShelle) and Delvin Williams (Jacqueta); his sisters, Charlene Barnes of Lewisville and Angelina Dorsey of New Orleans; his nephew Clarence Dorsey; and his grandchildren, Zhe'Vaughn Butler, Branae Stevenson, Tina Adams, Braxton Cobb, Taylor Butler, Jaidyn Williams, Ryann Butler and Jeremiah Strange. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; three god children; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
