She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Copeland and Vera Barkley Copeland; her siblings, Irene Cooper, Hiram Copeland, Orvin Copeland and Doyle Copeland; and her former spouse Sydney Royce Byrd.
She is survived by: her sister Juanita Carrol of Dothan, AL; and her children, Michelle Morgan (Tom) of Seale, AL, Renee Ippolito of Milton, FL, Kelly Byrd (Tammy) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and John Byrd (Gayle) of Seale, AL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; as well as several extended family and friends.
