It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William B. Howard Jr. of Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy William leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Howard and Lottie America Nunn Howard; and his siblings, Dorothy Mae Godwin, Thomas Marion Howard, James Pinkney Howard, J. D. Howard and Milford Lavaughn Howard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Piney Grove Cemetery (20552 AL-227, Grove Oak, AL 35975).
