He was predeceased by : his father Les Sims; and his brother Bill Sims. He is survived by : his wife Jimmie Sims; his mother Margaret Sims; his children, Kristina King and Steffany Hauenstein; his stepson Brian Waldrop; his grandchildren, Maleah Johnson, Gabriel Johnson, Jessica Waldrop, Chloe King, Maggie King, Isabella Hauenstein, Benson Waldrop and Alexander Hauenstein; and his siblings, Julie Bonzani and Raymond Sims. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
