She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Lee Kirksey and Daisy Brandon Kirksey of Scottsboro, Alabama.; her brothers, Ronnie Lee Kirksey and Bobby Dale Kirksey; and her grandparents, Harvey Goodman Brandon, Mary Elizabeth Wininger Brandon, Johnson Winchester Kirksey and Mary Ann Bass Kirksey.
She is survived by: her children, Shannon Rae Frazier McKenzie of Opelika, Alabama and Ted Ray Dawson (Jennifer) of Harvest, Alabama; her brother Rodney "Rod" Kirksey of Skyline, Alabama; and her granddaughters, Chloè Michaela Bozzell of Opelika and Kylie Lynn Dawson (James Evans) of Nashville, TN.
