It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Earline Zilbert of Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne "Yank" Zilbert; her parents, Homer E. Lee and Ethel Lee Sr.; her son Billy Wayne Zilbert; and her grandchildren, Patti Webster and Tyler Jacob Zilbert.
She is survived by: her children, Gay Day, Patricia Newman and Mike Zilbert (Paulette); and her grandchildren, Landon Zilbert, Caleb Zilbert, DeAnna Thompson, Traci Jackson, Karla McCullough, Leslie Eakin and Chris Zilbert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
