He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Shelton and Evie Shelton; his grandson Noah Holiman; and his siblings, Pauline Winninger, Ruth Crowe, Loretta Hancock, Delbert Shelton and Julian Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Shelton; his children, Sherry (David Holiman) and Douglas (Carrie Shelton); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicole Shelton, Ashley, Weston Mason, Matthew, Sarah Shelton, Nicholas Shelton, Cody Martin and Andrew Holiman; his great grandchildren, Audrey Shelton, Zane Shelton, Camryn Mason, Collin Mason, Cadence Martin, Cameron Ludin, Sara Munson and Blayne Munson; and his siblings, Mary Johnson and Alvie Shelton (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
