He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Jacob Steward and Mary Kate Tolliver Steward; and his grandparents, George, Florence Tolliver (Pete), Church and Exie Steward.

He is survived by: his son Adrian Steward (Tamara); and his stepson Chelson Cooper (Deborah Steward). He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
