We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2022, at the age of 64, James Luchion Akins (Scottsboro, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Akins and Evelyn Akins; and also, Mearl and Agnes Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Robin Akins; his children, Selina Pittman (DeRon), Celeste Patteson and Jeremiah Akins; his grandchildren, Jillian Pittman, Emmitt and Avett Patteson; his siblings, Jimmy Ray (Kim), Dennis, Arthur (Sandy), Timmy (Barbara) and Tina; and his nieces and nephews, David, Shelly, Jennifer, Josh, Cody and J. D..
