It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hanson Lee Higginbotham of Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Hanson Lee departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Hanson Lee. Though Hanson Lee may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Higginbotham English; and his daughter Jeanette Ledbetter. He is survived by: his son Harlon Higginbotham (Pam); and his close friends, Terry Mears, Carla Moyer and William Jones. He is also survived by Five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
