It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Posey of Scottsboro, Alabama, born in Jackson, Alabama, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Prince and Essie Prince (Houston); her husband Howard Posey; and her brother Buis Prince. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Posey (Dixie) of Scottsboro, Alabama, David Posey of Scottsboro, Alabama and Mike Posey of Scottsboro, Alabama; and her brother Carlos Prince (Faye) of Shelbyville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
