He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Washington; his children, Marques Washington and Emily Washington Dowdy; his stepson Jim Webb (Lea); his grandchildren, Mitravais Sexton, Ethan Dowdy, Enya Dowdy and Eleigha Dowdy; his stepgrandchildren, Julia Wells (Jacob) and Levi Webb (Jenna); his great grandchild Alaina Sexton; and his siblings, Sedric Washington (Becky), Eric Washington and Nita Coon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home - Scottsboro (716 S Broad St, Scottsboro, AL 35768).
