It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Steele of Scottsboro, Alabama, who passed away on September 20, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Douglas Cobb and Mary Elizabeth Cobb; her husband Billy Steele; and her sons, Bobby Ray Motes and Billy Don Motes.

She is survived by: her son James Edward Motes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great, great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
